Ready for a fun-filled night out? Bring your enthusiasm, some friends and your beverage of choice for a night of painting at Piedmont Arts. Explore your creative side in a casual studio environment, while instructor Pepper Martin guides you, step-by-step, through your own acrylic masterpiece. Young Artists (ages 8 –12)

Friday is the perfect day for after-school fun! Kids will have a blast creating hands-on artwork with instructor Pepper Martin. Each student will complete a small acrylic painting to take home. This month’s subject is “Dolphin.”

The Piedmont Arts galleries will also be open for self-guided tours. “Pulled, Pressed & Screened: Important American Prints” and “A 180 Turn: From Numbers to Art” are on display.

Songwriters Showcase
Daily Grind Coffee House & Cafe • 303 E Church St
From 7:30 − 8:30 pm, join Daily Grind for Songwriters Showcase, an open mic for original music hosted by Dean Smith of Woodall’s Music and Sound. No cover. All ages welcome. Each showcase also features a 10 − 15 minute talk by a local artist whose work will be on display.
